Sports awakening - ages 3-4

Presentation of the program

An introduction to camp life is offered to children between the ages of 3 and 4 wishing to experience different sports!

* It is to be noted that the children signed up for this program will be paired with a group of (tout-petits) composed of children that are 4 years of age, for the activities offered before lunch.

Schedule

Each day, these young participants will have the chance to participate in two activities that are specially adapted to answer all their needs. Lunch is also provided.

Multisport - ages 4 to 15 New!

Presentation of the program

An exciting program is offered to aspiring athletes wishing to participate in the most popular activities and discover new ones!

As of 2018, this program will be offered in French and in English. However, it is important to note that certain common periods such as group gatherings, lunchtime and daycare services will be animated in both languages. It is also possible that certain groups, if the number of inscriptions does not allow us to make uni-lingual groups, will be bilingual. Parents will be notified as soon as possible.

Language Academy - ages 7 to 15

Presentation of the program

Regular program

  • An innovative, interactive program allows children to develop basic English second-language skills. They are encouraged to make the most of the various situations available, in and out of class, to practice speaking English. They are also introduced to reading and writing.
  • A placement test is used to form two groups (beginner and intermediate), allowing the teacher to adapt pedagogical material to the children’s needs and level of competence. A learning assessment is provided to the parents at the end of the stay.
  • Two hours per day are devoted to the language program. The different sports activities in the basic Multisports program bring the day to an end.

Intensive Program

  • An intensive immersion program provides students with a variety of authentic communication settings for improving their understanding and ability to express themselves in English.
  • Two hours per day are devoted to the regular program’s English courses, while Multisports activities led by bilingual counsellors take up the rest of the day. A special bracelet identifies the participants of this intensive program, enabling our staff to communicate with them in English.

Mini Camp - ages 4 to 12

Presentation of the program

A great introduction to summer camp life is offered to children who are new to our Val Morin Site.

They are then introduced to various outdoor sports activities, such as horseback riding, canoeing, woodland challenge courses and circus arts, as well as evening activities (campfires, major games, etc.).

Schedule

Throughout the day, there are five 50-minute activity periods. These take into account your child’s age and level of development and conclude with a program of evening activities.

Mini Camp PLUS - ages 4 to 12

Presentation of the program

Children can enjoy an introduction to camp life by participating in the Mini Camp PLUS program, in addition to completing their stay in day camp. The best of both worlds!

Schedule

Throughout the day, there are five 50-minute activity periods. These take into account your child’s age and level of development and conclude with a program of evening activities (at our vacation camp only)!

Duration and availability

3-day, 2-night stays are offered every week at our vacation camp (Monday to Wednesday), as well as 2 days of day camp (Thursday and Friday), from June 25 to August 17, 2018.

Super Challenge - ages 13 to 15

Presentation of the program

This highly exciting program has been developed for teenagers who want to experience thrilling outdoor activities in the Laurentians!

* This program is available only at our Val Morin Centre.

Schedule

Activities are scheduled on a two-week cycle but you can also register your child for one week only (Sunday to Friday).

For the 13-day, 12-night stays, parents are responsible for driving their children to and from the Val Morin Centre. You will be notified of departure and arrival times later.
