The dates for the virtual training will be confirmed in the spring. The first aid training will take place on the third Saturday of May at Collège Regina Assumpta in Montréal.
During the two-week stay at the sleep away camp, the aspiring assistant counsellors will be under the supervision of the program coordinator and may also be paired with groups from either the sleep away camp or the day camp to put their learning into practice.
Two to three virtual training workshops, an 8-hour first aid course, and a 12-day stay will be offered from July 5th to 17th, 2026.
For activities:
- underwear sets;
- light sweaters (t-shirts);
- rain jacket;
- beach towel;
- insecticide (liquid or cream only);
- pairs of socks;
- pants;
- running shoes (avoid sandals);
- hat, cap;
- water bottle (reusable).
- shorts;
- warm sweater;
- one-piece swimsuit;
- sunscreen;
For sleep :
- 1 cover;
- 1 pair of pyjamas.
- 1 pillow (+ pillowcase);
- 1 sleeping bag;
- 1 fitted sheet.
For personal hygiene :
- 1 toilet bag (soap, toothbrush, etc.);
- 1 toilet bag (soap, toothbrush, etc.);
- 1 washcloth;
- 1 pair of bathing sandals;
- 1 bag for dirty clothes.
We provide all the sports equipment needed for the scheduled activities.

Parents are responsible for transporting participants.
Arrival at camp: between 1 PM and 2 PM on Sunday
Departure from camp: between 11 AM and 12 PM on Friday
