Presentation of the program

An exciting program is offered to aspiring athletes wishing to participate in the most popular activities and discover new ones!

* These activities take place at St-Paul de la Croix Park.

Since 2018, this program is offered in French and in English. However, it is important to note that certain common periods such as group gatherings, lunchtime and daycare services will be animated in both languages. It is also possible that certain groups, if the number of inscriptions does not allow us to make uni-lingual groups, will be bilingual. Parents will be notified as soon as possible.

5-day stays are offered between June 26th and August 18th, 2023.

Personal belongings

  • Sports attire;
  • Running shoes (sandals are to be avoided);
  • Bathing suit (one-piece), towel;
  • Hat, cap;
  • Sunscreen;
  • Lunch box with one or two snacks and a water bottle.

We provide all sports equipment required for the practice of the scheduled activities.

Concept presentation

The combos allow campers to reconcile regular physical activity through the Multisports program (3 periods per day) and participation in a more specialized activity (2 periods per day), enabling campers to develop new interests or skills.

French Multisports / Arts – 4 to 6 years old

Young artists are introduced, through various age-appropriate activities, to different forms of art such as visual arts, theatre, dance, and music.

Note: The program is designed for 4 weeks.

French Multisports / Mini circus – 4 to 8 years old

Through games, young ones are introduced to the world of circus by becoming familiar with each of its traditional disciplines. Acrobatics, balance (tightrope, rolla bolla), juggling (balls, scarves), and clown manipulation (Chinese plates, diabolos) allow them to explore this art with joy!

French Multisports / Swimming lessons – 4 to 8 years old

In accordance with the Swim for Life program of the Lifesaving Society, young swimmers gradually develop the necessary swimming skills to enjoy water activities safely. Note: One hour per day is dedicated to swimming lessons, totaling 5 hours per week.

English Multisports / English lessons – 4 to 10 years old

Grouped according to their age group (4-6 years & 7-10 years), participants enjoy multiple authentic communication contexts to develop different competencies in understanding and expressing themselves in English. Two periods per day are dedicated to playful classes for reviewing concepts learned during the school year and/or preparing for the upcoming school year, while sports activities conducted in English complement the day.

French Multisports / Arts – 7 to 10 years old

Participants in this combo are encouraged to explore their artistic side by developing curiosity, creativity, and a range of skills through various activities such as visual arts and theatre.

Note: The program is designed for 2 weeks.

French Multisports / Robotics – 7 to 10 years old

By participating in this robotics design and animation program (LEGO MINDSTORMS Education), young individuals are introduced to basic concepts of coding and programming languages. Once their robot is assembled, they can make it perform various actions (races, dances, etc.).

French Multisports / Sciences – 7 to 10 years old

Curious youngsters are introduced to the world of science and technology through various amazing and interactive experiments where hands-on experience is at the heart of their learning.

Note: The program is designed for 2 weeks.

French Multisports / Circus – 9 to 12 years old

This specialty offers circus enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in various workshops introducing them to circus arts, allowing them to develop their potential in different disciplines such as ground and/or aerial acrobatics, balance, juggling, and clown manipulation.

French Multisports / Climbing – 9 to 12 years old

Young climbers take advantage of the various difficulty levels offered by our climbing walls and the expertise of our specialist to learn to master all the basic concepts of the climbing world: safety and belaying, vocabulary, footwork, and basic gestures, etc.

French Multisports / Video game creation – 9 to 15 years old

Video game enthusiasts grasp the basic concepts of computer programming by creating and realizing their scenarios and developing their own game.

Schedule

A schedule of five activity periods per day, including specific moments for hygiene routines, is suggested to each group, all while taking into account the age and development of each participant.

Two of the five periods are reserved for the specialized activities for a total of 10 hours per week.

When and how to register

*Seeing as some of our programs are in high demand, you can place your child on a waiting list if the activity of your choice. As soon as a place is free, an email will be sent to you and you will have 24 hours to confirm your decision.

Presentation of the program

A one week program which initiates young individuals to the world of animation is now offered to those hoping to follow in the footsteps of their favourite counsellors. Throughout their stay, they will learn more about their role and responsibilities as a counsellor, about the different intervention and animation techniques, in addition to discovering an impressive array of games and songs.

On the Friday following their arrival, the assistant counsellor will receive a telephone call from a team member of the day camp to discuss with him/her the team they will be assigned to as well as the logistics of arrival on the Monday morning. At the end of the week, he/she will also receive a list of games, songs, tips and tricks.

Schedule

With a schedule under the supervision of an experienced counsellor, the apprentice counsellor will be paired to a group and will have to follow the activity schedule as planned.
