JOB LISTINGS

EMPLOYMENT PERIOD

June 25th to August 18th 2023

REMUNERATION

$5280 for the season

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the assistant animation coordinator in the planning and organization of seasonal operations
  • Participate in recruiting sessions and staff training
  • Motivate, guide and evaluate his/her team
  • Supervise daily camp activities in order to ensure that they are done within the camps objectives, and follow procedures mentioned in the general guide of operations
  • Intervene when a child demonstrates difficulties adapting, behavioural issues and/or has special needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a good knowledge of summer camps (having been to Edphy Val-Morin an asset)
  • Have experience in animation (in management an asset)
  • Be autonomous, responsible, organized and have a great ability to adapt
  • Enjoy working in a group
  • Hold proof of successful DAFA training or be available to participate in training to get obtain it (click here for more info)
  • Hold a certification in first aid and CPR training (minimum 4 hours), issued by an organization recognized by the Quebec Certified Camp Association, or be available to participate in training to obtain it
  • Be exempt from any criminal records
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English (Spanish and Mandarin an asset)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep and administer medications to concerned campers
  • Treat injuries and administer first aid when needed
  • Give reference to parents, children and staff in regards to healthy lifestyle habits

 EXIGENCES

  • Enjoy working with children
  • Be dynamic, hard-working, reliable and responsible
  • Be 17 years old or older
  • Be available on site for 8 weeks (aside from weekly breaks)
  • Study or hold a diploma in the field of nursing
  • Be exempt from any criminal records
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English (Spanish and Mandarin an asset)

  • Oversee preparation and cooking

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be dynamic, hard-working, reliable and responsible
  • Be 17 years old or older
  • Hold proof of successful DAFA training or be available to participate in training to get obtain it (click here for more info)
  • Hold a certification in first aid and CPR training, issued by an organization recognized by the Quebec Certified Camp Association, or be available to participate in training to obtain it
  • Be exempt from any criminal records
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English (Spanish and Mandarin an asset)
  • Hold a certification or a strong experience related to his/her specialty (martial arts: minimum green belt, horseback riding: cavalier 1, rock climbing: moulinette accreditation from a recognized center, tennis: level 1 coach)

  • Communicate safety instructions and ensure compliance at all times
  • Monitor pool and/or area of water at all times
  • Organize and animate activities throughout the free swim period
  • Treat injuries and administer first aid when needed
  • Ensure the daily maintenance of the pool
  • *Can be asked to give swimming lessons

REQUIREMENTS

  • Enjoy working with children
  • Be dynamic, hard-working, reliable and responsible
  • Have completed their secondary 5 before the beginning of employment
  • Hold proof of successful DAFA training or be available to participate in training to get obtain it (click here for more info)
  • Hold a bronze cross or national lifeguard certification
  • Be exempt from any criminal records
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English (Spanish and French an asset)
