Dear cherished clients,
We hope that you are all doing well and staying healthy. On our end, our offices and Nature center still remain closed, however, certain members of our team – from home and surrounded by their children! – are working to answer your emails and are preparing our opening for when the time will come.
As you may already know, the guide put together for camps in regards to the COVID-19 outbreak, outlining measures to ensure the health and well-being of campers and staff, was released last Friday afternoon.
We are currently analyzing the new guidelines released by public health authorities. The situation being exceptional and unprecedented, it is crucial for us, for the security of all and for the sustainability of our organization, that the measures and their impacts be analyzed with great attention.
During this time, the Quebec Association of Camps is continuing its discussions with government officials to ensure that assistive measures are put in place to support our sector of activity in the safe maintenance of our operations.
Like you, our main concern revolves around public health and our main priority is to act responsibly. This is why we thank you for your patience while waiting for us to be able to provide you with how we are going to concretely apply the measures issued throughout our different camp locations. We also thank you in regards to our longer-than-usual delays when responding to your questions and emails. The best way to reach us remains via email at [email protected].
Rest assured that we will show, as always, creativity and innovation to ensure that we are a part of our campers’ lives this summer and that we all look forward to seeing you again!
Note. Due to the current context, please note that our Open house at our summer camp, scheduled for May 24th has been cancelled.
