Possible reopening of the Edphy International summer camp

It has now been 6 months since the government made the decision to postpone the opening of the summer camps until the summer of 2021. Just like you, our entire team, passionate and committed, have found it difficult not to be able to offer the Edphy experience in the Laurentians in 2020. However, on November 30th, we received encouraging news regarding the potential reopening of our Val-Morin Nature centre. In fact, we have received authorization, depending on our geographical location – in the orange zone – to resume accommodation and catering services, in compliance with the health measures and regulations validated by Public Health authorities. This therefore means that we are now allowed to welcome clients, including school groups, regardless of where they are coming from, in Val-Morin. This is a step in the right direction for Quebec summer camps and we are confident that positive news related to the summer season will follow shortly if the hosting of groups runs smoothly in the upcoming months.

For the moment, however, we prefer to wait to obtain approval from government authorities as well as the details concerning sanitary procedures and policies to be put in place before giving you more information regarding the registration period for the 2021 season. Rest assured that we will be in contact with you as soon as we have all necessary information and we are able to give you precise knowledge of the impacts that this will have on our operations, in particular our maximum capacity. Until then, we would like to reiterate that priority information will be given to families who have accepted a line of credit from the 2020 season.

We sincerely look forward to seeing you back at camp and to give your children the chance to relive the magic of Edphy in Val-Morin.
